Annual Eid Milan Party
On the 11th April, Tassibee hosted our annual Eid Milan celebration, bringing the community together for an evening of joy, laughter, and togetherness. We had over 60 women attend. Guests enjoyed delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere as we celebrated Eid and recognised individuals who have made valuable contributions to Tassibee, ensuring everyone felt appreciated, included, and special.
Birmingham Trip
Every year, Tassibee organises a day trip to give our for our service users and the general public an opportunity to get together and have fun! This year was no exception. On the 26th July, we organised a coach to go to Birmingham for the day. All the women spent the beginning of their day shopping in Alum Rock, and finished it off with the Birmingham Mela, which everyone had enjoyed. We had over 50 women join us on this joyful trip.
Annual General Meeting
On the 18th September, we held our AGM. It was an honourable moment for Tassibee as our founder and CEO, Khalida Luqman, presented all of our achievements and community work we have achieved this past year, through the Annual General Report. In addition to this, we had the honour of hosting the Mayor of Rotherham, Haroon Rashid, and the High Sherrif of Yorkshire, Sughra Begum. We had the opportunity to honour our gracious volunteers with Certificates of Merits.
