Annual Eid Milan Celebration – We celebrated Eid ul Fitr to mark the end of Ramadan at the Carlton Park Hotel once again. The event was a huge success, and attended by over 150 women from the community. This event gives Asian women a place to come and celebrate in a safe environment. The event involved a live fashion show, participants from the attendees to judge the best dressed. Tassibee provided entertainment in the form of a live comedy drama show, which was produced, directed, and choreographed by volunteers at Tassibee.
Milad Event – This was attended by over 100 women, providing a platform for spiritual connection, and community bonding. The event was planned by volunteers, who worked closely with women of the community, and organised the food and refreshments.
York Trip – In August, we arranged our annual summer coach day trip to York for our volunteers, families and the local community. It was a beautiful, sunny day, which contributed to an incredible day for the women at Tassibee. This trip offered our participants an opportunity to travel, experience a new city, and form meaningful connections with one another. Volunteers supported and befriended the less confident women and families in a new environment.
